Lawsuit Between Peloton and FlyWheel

According to an announcement made by Peloton, the firm has resolved the patent infringement litigation it has been pursuing against Flywheel Sports for the last 16 months.

As part of the terms of the settlement, Flywheel admitted that the Fly Anywhere Bike infringed on Peloton’s patents and pledged to put an end to any instances of patent infringement within sixty days. Both firms have decided to join forces and submit a combined application to have the lawsuit thrown out of Texas federal court.

In addition, Flywheel has terminated its legal action against Peloton that was pending before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. After reaching a settlement with its rival Peloton about patent infringement, the fitness business Flywheel will discontinue giving its virtual lessons at the end of March in the year 2020.
