Who Is Trenton J Julian

Trenton Julian is a professional swimmer representing the United States of America in various swimming events. His love of swimming is coming from his father, Jeff Julian who was a member of the U.S. National team, and also his mother, Kristine Quance, who won the 1996 Olympics in the 400-meter medley relay event.

Early Life

In the early days, he studied at Glendale High School where he got the MVP honors for the swimming team for 4 years long. While doing so, he also succeeds in setting not only one but six school records.

2017-2018

The very first championship Julian participated in was the PAC-12 Championships when he successfully finished third in the 200-meter fly, 5th during the 200 IM event, and 200-meter freestyle. His time was 1:41.69, 1:44.04, and 1:34.62 respectively.

He also participated in the 400-meter freestyle relay. A month later, he joined the NCAA Championships when he won 7th place in the 200-meter fly. During the same event, he also competed in the 200-meter freestyle event where he finished 27th with a time of 1:34.65, and 200 IM in the 31st position with a time recorded at 1:44.37.

2018-2019

2018 was Julian’s sophomore season, and during that time, he continued to improve while also broadening his international career. He participated in the Pac-12 Championships and competed in the 200-meter fly when he finished in 1:41.74, 500-meter freestyle in 4:13.61, and 200-meter freestyle in 1:34.37.

He also helps the team in the 800-meter free relay. In NCAA, Julian competed in the 400 IM, 200 flies, and 500-meter freestyle when he finished in 5th at 3:39.8, 6th in 1:40.94, and 9th in 4:11.30.

Julian was also a part of the 800-meter freestyle relay when he helped the team win the third position.

In 2019, he also participated in the 2019 WUGs held in Italy when he joined the USA team to win a gold for the 4×200 meter freestyle relay event with a split time of 1:46.99, which made them a position ahead of Italy. As for the individual match, Julian competed in the 200-meter fly when he got the 13th position.

2020-2021

During the 2020 Pac-12 Championships, Julian competed in various events. In the 200-meter freestyle event, he won first place with a time of 1:33.17. He also got the silvers for the 500-meter freestyle with a time of 4:12.77, and 200-meter fly by finishing in 1:40.78.

Julian got another win in the 2021 Pac-12 Championships where he won the gold for 500-meter freestyle and 200-meter fly by finishing in 4:09.49 and 1:38.53. He also successfully snatched the silver medal for the 200-meter freestyle event with the time recorded in 1:32.29. Julian also participated in the 800-meter freestyle and even got the title for it.

2022

Julian participated in the 2022 World Championships Trials when he started in Greensboro. During the first night, he hit the time of 1:54.22, which made him the second. The second night of competition was when Julian competed in the 200-meter freestyle and got the 4th position.
