For a long time, CD Projekt made us wait for the next-gen update to The Witcher 3. Of course, we know that this one will debut in December, but today it will turn out whether it is worth waiting for it at all.
In theory, the next-gen patch for The Witcher 3 was supposed to debut many months ago. However, the problematic launch of Cyberpunk 2077 meant that the company first had to put things in order in the new project, including releasing an update for new consoles, before moving on to the previous, already iconic position. As a result, we know that Wild Hunt and its add-ons will be updated on PS5 and Xbox Series X on December 14 and we will play it completely for free.
For many, it will be an opportunity to go through The Witcher 3 again. However, the question is whether it is worth it or will be just a “chapter boost.” We’ll find out today on a special broadcast on Twitch, scheduled for 2 p.m. 6:00 p.m. We will watch the broadcast on the official CD Projekt channel.
Recall that relatively recently, the studio confirmed the development of several different projects from the world of The Witcher. One of them is the remake of the first part, created by Fool’s Theory, the creators of the great but very underrated Seven: The Days Long Gone.
