Sometimes people hear music when they are working out. Aside from bringing peace, music can also be helpful as a distraction from fatigue and pain felt during the activity. When you put on a high-tempo song, you may also feel motivated and energized, following the flow of the music.
When listening to music, people feel they can bike longer when using a Peloton bike. You don’t always have to connect your wired headphones as it already supports Bluetooth peripherals. But how to actually do that?
Peloton already provides a touchscreen accompanied by speakers to enhance your music listening experience. However, if you want to really feel the flow of the music, we highly recommend using Bluetooth headphones.

Now you don’t have to worry much about connecting wired earphones, which can fall off your ear easily when the cables are stepped on or tangled around the machine. Instead, by using the Peloton’s touch screen, you can easily connect your device to it.
However, before connecting the headphones with Peloton, you need to make sure that they support a connection and are compatible. You may refer to their official websites to see what headphones are supported. If you’re sure enough, carefully read the manuals to connect your headphones to the Peloton.
But in case the manual is lost or taken away, here’s how to connect your Bluetooth headphones and AirPods to Peloton.
It’s possible to have lovely music when biking with Peloton. All you need to do is make headphones in pairing mode, which can be indicated by the flashing lights (Note that it only happens to some headphones).
When your headphones are in pairing mode, check the Peloton touchscreen, select the Settings menu on the bottom right, and then choose the Bluetooth settings. Turn it to ON, and Peloton will search the nearby headphones that are ready to be paired.

Yes, it’s also possible to pair Peloton with Apple AirPods. However, compared to the above technique, there are some extra steps you need to take. Follow these instructions:
- Make sure the Airpods are not connected to your phone, desktop, or any of your devices
- And then, put them inside the case, but keep the lid open
- Hold the button on the back of the case to reset the AirPods for three to five seconds until you notice blinking lights.
- Now that the Pods are reset, you can make them enter the pairing mode once again
- Open the touchscreen on the Peloton and try to find the AirPod
- Select it and wait for a bit until they are successfully paired
- Now, do some tests to know whether it’s working.
See, it’s actually that simple. To connect your Bluetooth devices, you need to make them into a pairing state and then simply connect them with Peloton. The touch screen allows the pairing process to be made more quickly and easily.
