Why does Katie choose to be a rowing coach at Peloton?
“Looking back, I can see that what I was truly after was the fire, passion, and enthusiasm that my parents exhibited in their work, and I found it in fitness.” She said.
“I have always preferred team sports, and I stress team since it is within a community that I thrive. However, when I felt lost and bewildered during this period of profound darkness, I discovered inner strength, endorphins, and pleasure in myself and others. I desired to replicate that sensation, so I began instructing group exercise.”
What is her favorite aspect of rowing?
According to her, rowing is a total-body exercise. She likes that you will get a lower-body and upper-body exercise simultaneously, which is why it goes so well with strength.
It complements everything. She also likes removing the stigma around rowing. The greatest thing is that the Peloton Row team simplifies it to make it enjoyable, accessible, and doable for everyone, and you unlock the next level.
Katie Wang’s teaching style
She is musically motivated. She needs music to provide the desired enthusiasm and atmosphere for my exercise. Her class should constantly improve your mood.
When you begin her exercise, it is OK if you are not at your best. She never demands 100%; She never seeks perfection. But you should leave her class feeling better than when you entered it. But don’t miss her EDM rows; they’re going to be a thing! Whether you become physically stronger or emotionally lighter, these endorphins will make you feel better.
