Acer recently unveiled its new laptop, the Chromebook Vero 514. The new model should be of high quality, particularly durable, and therefore environmentally friendly.
Well equipped and yet sustainable
The Chromebook is equipped with the latest 12th generation Intel Core™ i7 processor, which is designed to enable maximum productivity. Supposedly you should be able to do several things at once without the laptop going limp. Furthermore, Acer promises outstanding sound on the go thanks to DTS audio (multi-channel sound system) and the integrated Smart Amplifier. This enables distortion-free tones and deep bass. In addition, the Chromebook has a Corning Gorilla Glass screen with anti-reflection, a backlit keyboard, and a fingerprint sensor.
Chrome OS ensures a particularly long battery life. The user interface is easy to set up, and the laptop is exceptionally quick to boot up.

A milestone in our throwaway society
The laptop is made from recycled plastic, 30% of which is in the case and bezel and 50% in the buttons and speakers. In addition, it is also used in the fan housing and in the touchpad. This is an OceanGlass touchpad that looks and feels very much like glass with its smooth surface. The whole thing is delivered in packaging that is also recycled, which is made from recycled paper, cardboard, and other natural fibers.

The starting price for the Acer Vero 514 will likely be $ 499.
