First pictures of the new Logitech G Gaming Handheld

First pictures of the new Logitech G Gaming Handheld

Well-known blogger and phone leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks) released the first images of the new Logitech G Gaming Handheld yesterday. They give us a glimpse of what the new handheld console will most likely look like.

Facts or just speculation?

Electronics maker Logitech reported a while back that it plans to partner with Tencent to develop a new handheld console. According to its own statements, it should be called Logitech G Gaming Handheld. Evan Blass has leaked images of the new product on Twitter, giving us a pretty accurate idea of the design.

The familiar design

With the new design, the G Gaming handheld is not particularly different from the consoles that are already on the market. In the pictures, you can at least see that the handheld itself is white; the neon yellow and black accents give it small splashes of color. The console is speculated to be slightly smaller than Valve‘s Steam deck. On one of the images, you can see the user interface, on which the Google Play Store can be seen relatively large, and next to it, apps like Youtube, Google Chrome, Xbox, and Steam Remote Play. According to Logitech itself, the device will support multiple cloud gaming services.

Questions upon questions

It is not yet officially known which handheld operating system will run on. Judging by the pictures, it is almost certainly an Android device. Unfortunately, we don’t know anything about the G Gaming’s battery lifedisplay, or price yet. When exactly it will be offered for sale is still in the stars.

We are pleased that we were able to learn a little about the new device before the official release, and we are excited to see how the model will be received by buyers in the future.
