The presentation of the iPhone 14 is almost here. In the meantime, more information about the new Apple equipment has apparently leaked to the network. And unfortunately, this is not good news because it looks like you will have to pay more for new smartphones than a year ago.
If you’ve read our material summarizing unofficial reports about the iPhone 14, you know that Apple is preparing an evolution rather than a revolution for us. So one could assume that the giant from Cupertino will not go crazy with the prices of new smartphones. Unfortunately, new reports from the network suggest that it may be just the opposite.
iPhone 14 with an even higher price?
Well, the alleged prices of fourteens from the Chinese market appeared on the Internet, where the phones are supposedly more expensive by about 1000 yuan, or about USD 153. The cheapest iPhone 14 with 128 GB of memory costs USD 947, while the most expensive iPhone 14 Pro Max with 1 TB of memory, costs as much as USD 2140.
While quoting these amounts, it should be noted that these amounts may be specifically for the Chinese market and do not necessarily reflect the amounts for which clients will buy new iPhones in other countries. On the other hand, the very fact that prices in China are expected to be higher than for iPhone 13 this year suggests that we will also see an increase in other regions. Finally, there is another possibility: the leak is simply untrue, which would probably be the best-case scenario.
Everything will turn out on Wednesday, September 7, when the Apple presentation will take place.
