Motorola has expanded its Edge 30 series. The new Edge 30 Ultra sets a record for smartphone camera resolution with a 200-megapixel camera.

The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra was officially launched on Thursday. Due to its top equipment, it is an absolute competitor to the recently introduced Apple iPhone 14 Pro.

200 MP camera

The Edge 30 Ultra has a 200 MP wide-angle camera. So far, Motorola has not used a zoom lens on its Edge flagships. But not with the Edge 30 Ultra. The second camera, a 12 MP telephoto camera, has a 2x lossless zoom, a bright f/1.6 aperture, and a pixel size of 1.22 µm. The third camera has an ultra wide-angle format with 50 MP and a macro function. The 60 MP front camera is also ideal for selfies.

The Edge 30 Ultra can also record 8K videos and slow motion in Full HD resolution.

Fast charging with 125 watts

The battery capacity is 4610 mAh. The battery can be charged at 125 watts. According to Motorola, 7 minutes of charging is enough for a full day of running time. It can also be quickly charged inductively with 50 watts. Here you need an appropriately equipped Qi charger for wireless charging.

Thanks to wireless 10W power sharing, you can even provide others with a little battery power.

The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra is available in black and white. Only the Edge 30 Pro is currently available from Amazon, but the flagship phone can already be ordered directly from Motorola’s website.
