Apple recently introduced the new iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, AirPods, and Apple Watch models. As is usually the case, the smartphones are very similar to the previously released series, but Apple has once again managed to let them shine in a new light.
Small changes, big impact
The iPhone 14 Pro will be available in 6.1 or 6.7 inches in the future. Compared to the iPhone 13 Pro, the camera module is slightly larger here. Otherwise, not much has changed in terms of the external appearance. Buttons and ports remain in the same place.

The notch makes the difference
On smartphones, the notch is the small “cut” at the top edge of the display, where cameras are usually placed. Apple calls the notch “Dynamic Island” on the iPhone 14 Pro. “Dynamic” probably because the notch can change shape and appearance on this model. It adapts optimally to the currently-used app and increases in size when you give it a command with a touch. If you have two apps open at the same time, the notch also splits into two parts.
This function has never been available on the market before. However, it is also a matter of taste: because the shape of the notch is constantly changing, it is much more noticeable and could also cause more disturbance on display.
No mini version this time
The regular iPhone 14 models show a bigger change this time. Although there is the conventional version with 6.1 inches, the matching mini version is not available this year. Instead, there will be a Plus version with 6.7 inches.

As always, the prices for the new smartphone models are not for the faint of heart. The most expensive model is the iPhone 14 Pro Max which costs over 2000 euros. The new cell phones can be pre-ordered from Friday. In addition to the iPhone 14 series, the new Apple Watch Ultra and the second generation of AirPods Pro were also released.
