Outlook Lite available for Android. The application weighs only 5 MB

Outlook Lite is a new Microsoft application that has been made available for some time now. It is a heavily slimmed down version of the popular e-mail client. The application weighs only 5 MB, but still gives access to basic functions. Outlook Lite is supposed to work even when connected to 2G networks.

Outlook Lite is a new application that Microsoft has been preparing for some time. The program has finally been made available for Android devices and has very low requirements. It should successfully work on smartphones that have only 1 GB of RAM.

The Outlook Lite installer weighs only 5MB, so it’s really small. The client works with Outlook, Hotmail, Live, MSN, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Exchange Online accounts. The software is simple but gives you access to basic functions, including e-mail, calendar or contacts.

Microsoft claims that working with the Outlook Lite application will also be possible after connecting to 2G networks. Unfortunately, the software has only been made available in selected markets so far. These are Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, India, Mexico, Peru, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey and Venezuela.
