Spotify decided to introduce a new change, which, however, does not have to appeal to everyone. This is the separation of the music and podcasts section into two different parts. Fortunately, the Swedes allow you to undo such changes. For now, they appear in the application for Android phones.
Spotify has recently been investing more and more in podcasts and this is where a big change comes in. It concerns exploring this section. Therefore, the Swedes decided to separate it from music. There are two distinct sections in the app .
The music section of Spotify focuses on discovering new artists, tracks and albums. In the case of podcasts, the Swedes focus on promoting new episodes liked by podcasters. However, new elements will also be suggested based on previous listening sessions.
For now, these changes apply to the Spotify mobile app for Android phones. Over time, they will also be introduced on iOS devices. It is worth noting that these changes can be easily undone. The X button in the podcasts section brings you back to the old view.
