Peloton’s Chief Information Officer Has Left the Company

Peloton is losing yet another person on its executive team as they prepare to leave the firm. Shobhana Ahluwalia, who held the position of Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Peloton, revealed her departure from the company through LinkedIn. The following are the exact words that she used to notify her departure: “After such an incredible two years, I have clipped out of my Peloton ride.” #forever I am thankful to have had the opportunity to participate in such an exciting activity with such a wonderful bunch of individuals. I want to keep serving as the #PTON’s most ardent cheerleader.

Almost precisely two years ago, Ahluwalia became a member of Peloton for the first time. Previously, she worked at Uber for five years as the Chief Information Officer. In addition, she had positions at CNET, CBS, and Rocket Fuel. Peloton has not yet disclosed who will take over for Ahluwalia in this role.

This comes after a significant reorganization of management had placed the previous week. John Foley, the company’s founder, and a previous CEO, resigned from his post as Executive Chair, while Karen Boone was appointed to fill his shoes. In fact, Hisao Kushi, who helped start the corporation and served as its Chief Legal Officer, will leave the organization on October 3. Peloton is excited to welcome Tammy Albarrán, who most recently worked at Uber Technologies.
