Peloton’s Black Friday offer was increased overnight in a surprising move. Peloton also added sales to their new Peloton Rowing machine, which was not included in the original Black Friday offerings.
Members who purchased a Tread, Guide, Bike, or Bike+ this morning received emails informing them that they would automatically receive a refund and a price match for the new offers. A Peloton member who bought the Guide received a version of this email. It stated:
We are reaching out to you regarding your recent Peloton Guide purchase. As you may have noticed, the Black Friday deal has just gotten even better! We have updated our offer. You will receive a $100 refund on your original payment, which will show on you payment form within 7-10 business days.
Peloton promoted their BlackFriday price-match guarantee. Even if you haven’t received an email yet you can still reach customer support to request a price match.
Black Friday sales are often doubled in many cases. You can find a table listing the current sales here (we have updated it with the latest pricing). The US offer was $300 off a Bike/Bike+/Tread accessory bundle and went to $600 off. The Guide went from $200 off to $300 off accessory bundles. Similar increases were seen in other countries.

We didn’t mention the Rower in the original Black Friday price match guarantee. And we haven’t yet seen many members share their experiences with price matching these new offers. The Home Trial Guarantee of 30 days applies to the Peloton Row. Peloton will honor any price match but members can return it free of charge under the home trial and then reorder under the Black Friday deal. Peloton would be better off honoring the price match than sending a delivery team to pick it up, and another team to deliver the new one. We’ll wait to see their approach.
You have the option to place your order online or at a local showroom by phone or in person. If you decide to visit one of their showrooms, you’ll pay the same price, but your local salesperson will earn a commission.
Peloton didn’t just make updates on Black Friday sales overnight. They made the rower eligible for financing and reduced the interest rates for financing packages from 14.99% down to 4.99%.
