Peloton is partnering with Foxtel, a paid Australian television company. All Foxtel subscribers have access to approximately ten Peloton classes via their TV.
These classes are video on-demand, so accessing them is different to logging in to the Peloton App on a smart TV. They are videos you can view, but you cannot log in to your Peloton account nor receive credit for the class. This is similar in concept to Peloton’s partnership with Delta Airlines. It serves more as a teaser and has a limited view-only library. Also, there is Peloton’s Sky Q partnership in Germany and the UK, which is basically an app that users can log into to browse all the library.
Foxtel TV users will now be able to see the new Peloton widget on their home screens. They can also just search for Peloton.
So far, Foxtel has three strength classes, two yoga classes, one HIIT cardio class, two sleep meditations, one stretching class, and one standing core strength class. All of these classes are free and can be taken with no equipment.
Foxtel has an additional loyalty program called Foxtel First. Members of this program will receive three months of the Peloton App (the digital only subscription) for free.
