Watching Disney+ On Peloton Tread, Bike, Row is Now Being Tested

Peloton is once again broadening its Entertainment feature beta trial, and several users have now gained access to Disney+ through Peloton Entertainment. This development is available on all Peloton devices, including the Bike, Tread, and Rowing machines.

Just a quick reminder, Peloton Entertainment is Peloton’s new feature that lets members stream content from their hardware devices. This feature entered its beta testing phase in late June and is currently in a closed beta stage. This means that although many members can enjoy the feature, not everyone has access to it. Additionally, we previously informed you that some members briefly had extra streaming choices, Amazon Prime Video was removed, Netflix was introduced, and there was a slight redesign of the feature.

Last month, Disney+ made a brief appearance for Peloton members, and now it seems like they are conducting a broader test.

Whether or not you have access to the Netflix beta will decide where you spot Disney+. Without Netflix, opening Peloton Entertainment will reveal Disney+ on the following screen, alongside YouTube TV. On the other hand, if you’re part of the Netflix beta, Peloton Entertainment will display Netflix and an option labeled “More Providers.” Inside “More Providers,” you will find Disney+ and YouTube TV.

DISNEY+ ON PELOTON ENTERTAINMENT

When you open Disney+, you’ll encounter the same standard screen you’d see on any other platform. To access the service, you’ll either log in to your existing account or create a new one if you don’t have an account yet.

Once you’re logged in to Disney+, the user interface will remain familiar. You can search for shows, explore content from major Disney brands like Pixar, Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and more, just as you would expect.

Similar to YouTube TV and previously available on Amazon Prime TV, you can select whether your workout on a Tread is categorized as a run or a walk.

If you connect a heart rate monitor, it will track and display your heart rate statistics during your workout in real-time.

Certainly, once you’re content with your settings, you can enlarge the video portion of the screen, nearly filling it, to focus on the video content while minimizing the metrics.

If you wish to switch to a different Disney+ profile, simply click on your user icon at the top, and you can choose from your other Disney+ profiles.

Similar to other Peloton Entertainment workouts, this will appear in your profile as an “Entertainment” workout.

We’ll keep you updated on the progress and expansion of Peloton Entertainment as more information becomes available. Are you excited about the potential to access Disney+ while working out on your Peloton device?
