Peloton’s new rowing classes can be viewed by members using search “row” in their web browser.
There are at least 28 classes with the five rowing instructors (Alex Karwoski and Ash Pryor, Katie Wang and Adrian Williams) that can be accessed through the search bar. However, you cannot take any of these classes unless you’re on the rower.
This gives you a good idea of the class structure. They last between 5 and 45 minutes and include music-based, interval, endurance, recovery, beginner, and warm-up classes.
The playlists can be viewed as well as the complete class plan. The class plans generally describe a warm up, drills and rowing. You can break down the rowing portion into easy, moderate, difficult, and maximum efforts.
A handful of rowing bootcamp classes are also available – with Katie Wang and Adrian Williams. We shared previously that rowing bootcamps are on the horizon.
The classes can be dated back to July 25, and September 9, respectively.
Additionally, the iOS Exercises tab now has a rowing option for filtering class types. However, no results have been returned at publishing time.
Peloton Row has reminded that Rowing Classes will be locked to Peloton Row Owners at launch. Peloton is yet to clarify if and when this may occur.
All showrooms in the United States will now have a Peloton Row device that customers can test and see in person. Only 18 showrooms had the rower pre-sale phase when the Peloton launched it in September. Barry McCarthy, CEO of Peloton, stated that every showroom should have one on the Q1-2023 earnings call. If you want to see the device in person, it is a good idea to call your local showroom to confirm that they have a Peloton row.
