Peloton Guide owners now have access to an exciting new feature: a weekly workout plan designed specifically for your unique strength and fitness goals. This seems to be Peloton’s initial move towards offering personalized training plans for its users, as they mention that these plans will be “customized” according to your preferences.
After a few weeks of beta testing, this feature is now becoming available to all Peloton Guide owners. The official description goes like this:
Every Monday, you’ll receive a well-rounded selection of classes, tailored to your preferences and crafted by our experts to help you build strength.
For Guide owners, the new feature will take a prominent place on their home screens. All you have to do is click “get started,” and you’ll be guided through a series of questions aimed at creating a personalized weekly workout plan just for you.
To begin, they’ll ask you to describe your current workout habits. You’ll have several options to choose from:
- I’m just starting out
- I work out, but don’t strength train – yet!
- I strength train already
Next in line, they’ll inquire about how often you’d like to engage in strength training each week. You can select anywhere from one to six days to match your preference.
After you’ve answered, the program will automatically choose the appropriate number of strength classes for your plan. It’s important to know that you’re not stuck with this choice – you can always tweak the number of classes in your weekly workout plan as you go along.
In the end, you get to decide whether you want to kick off your plan with or without weights. If you’re new to strength training, starting without weights might be a fantastic choice.
Once you’ve provided your answers to the necessary questions, you’ll be granted access to your initial batch of courses.
Every Monday, your Guide home screen will unveil a fresh set of classes, meticulously tailored to your preferences. You can complete these classes at your convenience, any day of the week.
For instance, in your first week, you might find a full-body class on day 1, upper-body on day 2, and lower-body on day 3. If a particular class doesn’t pique your interest, simply tap the “more options” button to explore other choices.
Once you’ve embarked on your weekly workout plan, you have the flexibility to adjust the schedule, add or subtract classes, reset the plan, or even halt it altogether.
Are you a Peloton Guide owner? Are you considering taking advantage of the new weekly workout plan feature?
