Born in 1981 in Germany, Mila Lazar’s upbringing was influenced by her parents’ migration from Yugoslavia. During her childhood, her family relocated to the United States, providing Mila with a new cultural backdrop. It was at the tender age of seven that Mila discovered her passion for aerobics.

Inspired by televised aerobics instructors, young Mila eagerly absorbed their movements and techniques, teaching herself the art form. As she grew older, Mila expanded her dance repertoire, studying classical ballet with pointe shoes, as well as jazz dance, street dance, and contemporary dance. Her dedication and talent propelled her into a professional dancing career by the time she turned seventeen.

Mila graced the stage in notable productions such as Sweet Charity, A Chorus Line, The Musical Award Show, and Thriller Live Musical. During her journey, Mila’s passion for dance caught the attention of Gus Giordano, a renowned figure in jazz dance. Recognizing Mila’s potential, Gus awarded her a scholarship and offered her admission to his esteemed school in Chicago, USA. Eager to pursue her dreams, Mila embarked on her journey as a jazz dance novice at Gus’s school.

Parallel to her dance pursuits, Mila also pursued higher education, graduating in Economy and Management. In her relentless pursuit of her passion, she completed the Exercise to Music (ETM) course, further solidifying her expertise. While residing in the US, Mila actively participated in various programs, such as Reebok City Jam, Slide-and-High-Low Aerobics, and Reebok Step. She also gained valuable experience by assisting coordinators, counselors, and anchors at the Evanston Athletic Club in the United States, collaborating closely with Mr. David Mesirow.

In 1997, Mila relocated to the Netherlands and enrolled in a dance tutoring program at the esteemed Arnhem dance academy. This experience provided Mila with the necessary skills to effectively teach plies and tendus. She embarked on a fulfilling career by working at various fitness centers throughout the Netherlands, including Fitness Factory, Stelling Sports, beauty line, Special Sport, and Club Sportive.

In 1999, Mila auditioned for Dance and lessons, which led her to join the renowned Girly Band Alice Deejay. With the band, Mila had the incredible opportunity to tour worldwide and perform alongside renowned artists. They graced prestigious stages such as Germany, TOTP-UK, TMF Award Show, Holland, TMF TV, Party in the Park London, Dance Star 2000, and numerous others. After the exhilarating world tour, Mila continued her dance career by performing as a backup dancer for esteemed artists like Donna Summer, Vanessa Williams, Chaka Khan, Chris Brown, Shaggy, and many others.

Mila’s unique looks caught the attention of renowned brands such as Urban Outfitters, Oasis, L’Oreal, and Designer Anoosh, who hired her as a model.
