It would appear that Peloton is introducing new personal record (PR) badges for uses of the Bike and the Treadmill. There have been reports of members observing the addition of new badges to the recent accomplishments area of their profiles.
The first badge is labeled “1K,” and it acknowledges that the wearer has improved upon their previous 1K personal best. This indicates that you will be awarded this badge whenever you set a new record for the quickest amount of time required to traverse 1 km. In the same vein, there is also a brand new 5K PR badge available for the Tread.
Take note that at the moment, these badges are only showing up on the “recent achievements” part of the profile home page for the users who can view the badges. In addition, you won’t find them on the normal page that lists all of your complete achievements and displays every badge you’ve ever received.
At this time, it is not apparent whether or not there will be further range badges added. Or if the badges will ultimately be shown on the member’s profile the same way that all other badges are.
As of right now, this does not appear for all members; hence, it is unclear what criteria are being utilized to determine who is obtaining certain badges.
