Leslie Berland was named by Peloton to serve as the company’s new Chief Marketing Officer, and the company made the announcement. The 18th of January will see her beginning her new role at that company.
Berland spent the previous seven years at Twitter, where she held a variety of positions before joining Peloton. Her latest title there was Chief Marketing Officer, and she held that position there. Berland departed Twitter in November 2022, which was about the same time as a large number of other executives and staff were departing the firm. Berland’s previous employer was American Express; Twitter was his second job after leaving them.
According to her profile, Berland was included on the list of the World’s Most Influential CMOs published by Forbes from 2017 to 2021.
Dara Treseder was the former leader of the marketing team at Peloton. However, she departed the company in September 2022 to take a position at Autodesk.
