Before & After Classes Photo Booth For Members At Peloton Studios

Peloton Studios New York, also known as PSNY, has recently introduced a brand-new photo booth for its members to enjoy before and after their classes. The initial sightings of this setup were reported by members in late July. It’s worth mentioning that Peloton was sporadically testing it over the weekend, so not all PSNY members had the chance to experience it.

The photo booth can be found upstairs in the lounge area, right across from the small showroom and just outside the locker rooms at PSNY. Members have happily noted its convenient location and user-friendly design. It’s a self-serve setup, much like the photo booths you encounter at bars, arcades, or weddings. The one at PSNY, however, stands out as it’s more spacious and can take full-body photos or accommodate large groups, resulting in higher-quality pictures.

The best part is that, for now, there’s no cost involved in using the photo booth at Peloton Studios – it’s completely free for all visitors to enjoy.

The booth’s appearance resembles a sizable Lululemon Mirror device, featuring a generous lens and encircled by bright white lights. Instead of a physical backdrop or curtain, you have the option to choose from various digital backgrounds if you wish. Positioned in front of a pillar, a floor sticker guides members to the perfect spot for their photo.

When it comes to personalization, there’s a plethora of choices at your disposal. You can select from various borders, backgrounds, and even add your own text. As an example, one member shared a photo in which they included celebratory text to mark their recent retirement.

It’s not hard to envision Peloton broadening the selection of borders and backgrounds, especially for special occasions taking place at PSNY.

Members have the choice between a regular still photo or a lively GIF/Boomerang. They can receive their creation via email without delay. All you need to do is provide your name, email address, and specify whether you’d like to be added to a mailing list.

During the previous weekend, you could have chosen to have a physical copy of your still photo printed. However, members who visited PSNY in the first weekend of August reported that the printing option for still photos is no longer available – you can only receive them through email. It remains uncertain whether Peloton will reintroduce the printing option or continue with digital photos exclusively. Given the potential for glitches and technical hiccups with printing, sticking to digital distribution may offer a smoother and more user-friendly experience.

All in all, members have expressed that the booth impressed them both visually and technically, making it easy to use and adding a delightful element to their PSNY experience.

Several changes have taken place at PSNY throughout the summer. Peloton has made adjustments to the entry order, allowing first-time visitors to enter ahead of those with milestones. Furthermore, ID checks are now part of the check-in process, and cell phones are used instead of buzzers for managing the waitlist.
