Peloton’s Logan Aldridge is Training for Chicago Marathon

Peloton coach Logan Aldridge has set his sights on conquering the Chicago Marathon. He excitedly revealed this aspiration during his live class and also posted about it on his Instagram stories. Sadly, the Instagram story is no longer available.

In his video message, Logan disclosed that he’s currently tackling day four of Peloton’s rigorous marathon training regimen. His ultimate aim? To complete the marathon in under 3 hours and 30 minutes.

Furthermore, Logan has taken up the admirable cause of raising funds for the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, an organization committed to finding a cure for spinal cord injuries. He set an initial target of $3,000 and has established a special fundraising page on the foundation’s website at https://give.reeve.org/fundraiser/4768074.

Logan also shared a heartfelt personal message to clarify his motivation for supporting this cause:

“I’m gearing up to tackle the Chicago Marathon on Sunday, October 8th, with a mission to support those facing paralysis and contribute to pioneering research.

It’s crucial to remember that approximately 5.4 million Americans, which is nearly 1 in 50 individuals, grapple with various forms of paralysis. These remarkable people, along with their devoted families and caregivers, serve as the driving force behind the invaluable work carried out by the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation.

The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation is unwavering in its commitment to eradicating spinal cord injuries through the funding of innovative research and enhancing the quality of life for those living with paralysis by way of grants, knowledge, and advocacy.

I would be profoundly grateful for any contribution, regardless of its size, to help me reach my fundraising goal. Every donation is fully tax deductible.

Thank you immensely for your generosity and support!”

Logan and Peloton have a history of teaming up with the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation. Back in November 2022, Peloton introduced a specialized seated adaptive strength training program and a collection designed for caregivers. In the subsequent month, they organized an engaging virtual community event.

Furthermore, we have high expectations that Peloton will shine a spotlight on the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation during the Chicago leg of Peloton on Tour. As soon as we receive official updates about these events, we’ll be sure to share all the exciting details.

Mark your calendars for the upcoming 2023 Chicago Marathon, scheduled for October 8th. To stay updated on Logan’s marathon preparation, you can track his progress through his Instagram account. If you’d like to contribute to Logan’s fundraising efforts, you can make a donation at https://give.reeve.org/fundraiser/4768074.

Let’s all extend our best wishes to Logan as he embarks on this marathon adventure!
