The big news from Peloton, just announced on social media: Get ready to groove with boy bands, pop divas, and a fresh take on life after Romeo. Embark on an exhilarating journey through the iconic pop anthems of the sensational new musical, @andjulietbway, in this heart-pounding Broadway Series that’ll fill your spirit.
Important to know, the barre and ride classes are no ordinary classes – they’re premieres by Peloton. That means these classes will land in the on-demand library the very moment they make their debut on the stage.
Despite officially lighting up Broadway in November 2022, & Juliet has previously charmed audiences in the United Kingdom and Canada. It’s what they call a “jukebox musical,” where pop hits take the spotlight instead of original tunes. The story? It’s a twist on the timeless Romeo & Juliet tale, imagining a world where Juliet’s story continues beyond the play’s end.
This marks the 9th chapter in Peloton’s Broadway Series, a journey that set sail in 2020. Previous chapters brought us the rhythms of Moulin Rouge! The Musical, SIX The Musical, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Wicked, Dear Evan Hansen, In The Heights, Hamilton, and Rent. Remember, there was a Jagged Little Pill series planned, but alas, it didn’t come to fruition.
