Here’s how Peloton describes “Mastering the Basics: Cycling”: “Get ready to boost your biking game with this 6-week program. You’ll uncover fresh techniques to build strength and boost your stamina, whether it’s incorporating weights into your ride or mastering interval training. After this program, you’ll be prepared for any cycling challenge.”

Of course, no Peloton program is complete without badges! You’ll snag a Bronze badge when you finish 14 classes, a Silver one after 20 classes, and the prestigious Gold badge awaits you after successfully completing 26 out of the 28 total classes.

As of now, you can hop into these programs right from your Peloton Bike, Tread, or the Peloton Digital app. You won’t find them on Peloton’s website, though. To dive in, just head to the programs section, locate the “Mastering the Basics: Cycling” program, and hit that join button.
CLASS LIST & SCHEDULE
Here’s a rundown of the weekly classes included in the program. Keep in mind that Peloton has spiced things up a bit by locking these classes. You’ll unlock them as you make your way through the program. But if you can’t wait, you can click on any class name in the list below to locate it. Once you find it, you can bookmark it or add it to your stack and dive right in.
1st Week Class List & Schedule
Begin Week 1 by focusing on your form and perfecting your technique. Don’t forget to treat yourself to a nice post-ride stretch after every class. And for those extra TLC moments, reserve one weekday and one weekend day for more extended stretches and recovery. Your body will thank you!

2nd Week Class List & Schedule
Let’s kick off Week 2 with some Beginner and Advanced Beginner rides to get you going. And to add a dash of fun, why not throw in a Pop Ride? Make sure to schedule two well-deserved rest days during the week and also on the weekend for some quality stretching and recovery time. Your body will appreciate the balance!
