Last month, they unveiled “Peloton on the Road,” a new twist on the classic Peloton Homecoming event held in New York City each spring. Their inaugural journey kicked off in Los Angeles from July 13 to 15. If you want to dive into the firsthand accounts of attendees, we’ve got you covered with detailed write-ups on each event stop: the Peloton Instructor Experience, Outdoor Walk & Talks, the exciting group workout at UCLA, and the Class Tapings. Keep in mind that the Atlanta stop has its unique features, as we’ll explain below.

In Atlanta, six instructors will be gracing the event:

While Atlanta’s plan shares a few similarities with Los Angeles, Peloton has made changes and introduced new events, making it quite distinct. The Atlanta agenda features five key events: the Peloton Instructor Experience, Peloton Field Day, Activate Your Greatness Panel, Live Group Classes, and a lively Leaderboard Awards Party. Keep in mind that Peloton might surprise us with more free events, just like they did in Los Angeles.

Peloton has stated before that the number of tickets they offer depends on how big their retail store is. The Santa Monica store, where the Los Angeles tour began, was the smallest one, so we think there might be more tickets available at the Alpharetta store in Atlanta. But we still think the tickets will go fast, so if you want to make sure you get some, take a look at our Peloton on Tour booking tips.

In Atlanta, there are five events planned, and each event has its own $60 ticket cost, along with any applicable state and local sales tax. Similar to the Los Angeles stop, there isn’t a single ticket for the entire three-day event. Instead, you need to pick and choose the events you’d like to attend.

Peloton’s aim is to ensure that as many members as possible can participate in individual events, rather than having the entire weekend sold out at once. You’re allowed to buy up to two tickets – one for yourself and one for a guest. For events with multiple time slots, like the ones explained below, you can only select one time slot within the same event. Peloton has made it clear that they will cancel any duplicate bookings within the same event to make room for more people during the tour stop.

The first event is scheduled for Thursday, August 17, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and it’s called the Peloton Instructor Experience. Here’s a brief description:

Elevate your Peloton adventure by exploring three exclusive chances to engage with several Instructors. These include a personalized photo booth experience, a spot to capture memorable social videos, and a station to set intentions for your wellness journey. Embrace each moment as you connect with your community and craft lasting memories that will stay with you forever!

Tickets will be available for purchase in 30-minute time slots during the event hours, which run from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. With each ticket, you get to explore all the exciting stations within the experience. This event also happened in Los Angeles, and you can find out more, including stories and photos shared by attendees, in our comprehensive overview article.

Mark your calendars for the upcoming second event, scheduled for Friday, August 18, starting at 8:00 a.m. and concluding at 12:00 p.m. It’s called Peloton Field Day, a brand-new event that appears to be taking the place of the previous Outdoor Walk & Talk event in Los Angeles. Here’s a sneak peek from the event description:

Come and be part of Peloton’s inaugural Field Day extravaganza! You’ll get teamed up with a dedicated Instructor Team Captain and dive into four fantastic, fitness-centered games designed to challenge your body and mind. We’re eagerly looking forward to having you join us for this enjoyable and amicable team competition. Make sure to come prepared to break a sweat!

Each ticket grants you access to a 90-minute event, and you get to pick either the 8:00 a.m. or 12:00 p.m. slot. The website’s FAQs make it clear that there’s a maximum of 72 tickets available for each time. What’s unique about the Field Day event is that it’s happening near downtown Atlanta, unlike the other events which will be held at the Alpharetta store. It’s worth noting that this event drew inspiration from the 2023 Global Instructor Summit.

There’s an extra event lined up for Friday, happening from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on August 18, and it’s called the Activate Your Greatness Panel. Here’s what you can expect from it:

Discover the secrets to “Unlocking Your Inner Greatness” during an enlightening panel discussion with the one and only Alex Toussaint. Alex understands the journey of not always believing in yourself, and he’s on a mission to inspire everyone to tap into their personal greatness in every facet of life. At this special event in Atlanta, Alex will delve into the mental and physical routines that have shaped his daily life, ignited his drive, and played a pivotal role in his achievements. He’ll demonstrate how you too can incorporate these practices into your own life for a transformative experience.

The event starts with a 30-minute panel, and after that, there’s a chance to meet and greet with Alex. It seems like Alex is going to be the sole instructor at this event.

Moving on to the next tour stop, it’s happening on Saturday, August 19, running from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and it’s called Peloton LIVE Group Classes. These seem to be taking the place of the Class Tapings held in Los Angeles. Here’s what you can expect from this event:

We’re thrilled to bring you an exciting addition to Peloton on Tour: Live from Atlanta! We’re offering three fantastic outdoor group classes to choose from. You’ll have the option of a relaxing 30-minute yoga flow and two invigorating full-body workouts!

Unlike the Peloton Class Tapings in Los Angeles, these sessions will be live, outdoor workouts and won’t be recorded for others to watch later. Instead, our main goal is to let our members exercise alongside the instructor.

We’re capping each class at 100 participants, and there will be several instructors leading and joining in each session. We’ll supply the mats, and after each class, there’s a chance for a meet and greet, plus a photo opportunity. Below, you’ll find the schedule for the day, but keep in mind that Peloton hasn’t disclosed the instructors for each session yet.

Classes Schedule

  • 8:00AM – 30 min. Yoga Flow
  • 9:15AM – 30 min. Full Body Workout
  • 10:30AM – 30 min. Full Body Workout

According to Peloton, this occasion will resemble the no-cost group fitness session that happened at UCLA in Los Angeles.

The last gathering in Atlanta is scheduled for Saturday, August 19, and it’s the Leaderboard Awards Party. Please be aware that the event’s timing isn’t listed in the schedule at the moment. Here’s what the event description says:

Join us in wrapping up the weekend on a high note as we throw a celebration to honor our amazing Atlanta community at The Leaderboard Awards. This event will include our awards ceremony, delicious snacks, drinks, and some red carpet excitement with our instructors. We’re eagerly looking forward to your presence as we pay tribute to our Atlanta community!

In Los Angeles, the Leaderboard Awards used to be an exclusive, invitation-only affair. However, it seems that Peloton is extending an invitation to everyone in Atlanta this time around.

The Leaderboard Awards serve as an opportunity for local Peloton members to gain recognition from both Peloton and the instructor team. Any Peloton user can nominate a fellow member residing in the Atlanta metro area, aged 18 or above. Nominations should be either a 60-second video or a 250-word paragraph, and they must be submitted by July 28 at 5:00 p.m. ET through the provided Peloton Qualtrics form.

Just a friendly reminder, here are the five categories provided to help you with your nominations and to clarify the criteria for each:

  1. Community Superstar – Suggest a member who has made a notable impact by fostering a Peloton community within their own community, such as your favorite group administrator.
  2. Social Media Star – Put forward a member who consistently and positively engages with our Peloton community through social media.
  3. Friend of Fitness – Recommend a member who has successfully introduced a friend or multiple friends to the Peloton family, with positive outcomes.
  4. Champ of the Comeback – Nominate a member who has conquered a challenging period or experienced a drop in engagement but has made a triumphant return.
  5. Wild Card – If you know someone who shines as a Peloton star but doesn’t neatly fit into these categories, don’t hesitate to nominate them anyway!

Peloton has recently updated its FAQs, specifically addressing ticketing concerns. They emphasize that tickets should only be acquired through their official webpage to ensure their validity. If you come across tickets being sold elsewhere, it’s advised to reach out to their Tour Team for guidance.

In cases where someone you know wants to sell their ticket due to their inability to attend, it’s wise to contact Peloton to avoid any event access issues.

Notably, there’s no mention of apparel sales for Peloton on Tour attendees in Atlanta, unlike the Los Angeles event. Peloton has indicated their willingness to incorporate member feedback and make potential adjustments during the five-city tour, as seen with the new events and changes to the Atlanta itinerary. We’ll keep you updated with tips, photos, and feedback throughout the Atlanta stop.

Following Atlanta, the tour heads to Chicago (October 5-7), Berlin (October 19-21), and London (November 30-December 2). We’ll provide further details for each tour stop as they’re announced. As reported earlier, Peloton plans to reveal a complete schedule of events and attending instructors about a month before each tour stop.
